# Buy Back & Burn Mechanism

Token burning contributes to the shared benefit between holders and projects thanks to the reduced inflation and incentivizes users to hold.

There are several ways to burn tokens in SoccerWorld:

1. Strategy burn event at certain milestones.
2. The 3% fee from the deposit fund in P2P matches will be spent on token buyback and burn events.

$SCW will be burned continuously until 50% total supply from the reward pool is drained out.
